Male Goat UrethraThis will show you the way the male goat's urethra is situated so in the case of the goat getting UC (Urinary Calculi) you will understand what you are dealing with. The Urethral Process (see diagram) is where some small stones get caught and sometimes snipping (this appendage) off with sterile scissors or a scalpel will be all you need to do to relieve the blockage- best to be done by a veterinarian.
As you will see in the following diagram, do NOT Attempt to use a catheter as it can and probably will get caught at the sigmoid flexure and rupture. |
